Caron Simply Soft 60z/170.1 g, I skein of each of the following.
Berry Blue - (using less than half)
Pistachio - (using less than 30g)
White - (using less than 15g)

9sts to 4cm
Size
Adult. Fits head circumference 48-58 cm
Abbreviations
CO = cast on
k = knit
k2tog = knit 2 together
LHN - left hand needle
m1 = make one sts by inserting RHN tip into yarn loop before next st, lift it on LHN, knit it through the back
p = purl
psso2 = pass slipped st over next 2 sts
RHN = right hand needle
Rnd = round
rpt = repeat
sl = slip
sts = stiches
st-st = stocking stitch
yo = yarn over
WS = wrong side
[] = instructions to be repeated
Cuff
Using green yarn CO 90 sts, using long-tail CO. Join in the round, taking care not to twist the sts.
Rnd 1: [k1, p1] rpt all around
Rnds 2-8: as rnd 1
Body
Rnd 1: [k2, m1, k1] rpt all around (120sts)
Rnd 2: k
Textures of grass
Rnd 1: [yo, sl1, k2, psso2] rpt to end
Rnd
2: [work the next 2 sts as though to k2tog but do not slip the second
of the 2 sts off the LHN, work the sts left behind with the next st
in the same way] rpt to last st, sl last loop onto RHN
Rnds 3-6:
[Rpt rnds 11 and 12] twice
Chart:
Work the chart in st-st (k) 4 times around
Shaping the crown:
Continue in blue yarn only.
Rnd 1: [ssk, k26, k2tog] 4 times
Rnd 2: [ssk, k24, k2tog] 4 times
Rnd 3: [ssk, k22, k2tog] 4 times
Continue this way, kitting 2 sts less between the decreases, until you have 16 sts
Rnd 14: [ssk, k2tog] 4 times
Cut yarn, leaving a 20cm tail. Thread darning needle and gather the remaining sts and pull closed. Secure on the WS. Weave in ends.
